divorce, it sometimes feels like it is all about you. This is a fair feeling,

children. When it comes to children and divorce, there is no winner, but you can
try your best to make things as easy as you can for them.
Children won’t understand what is going on, even if they are
teenagers. Even some adults can’t handle it when their parents split. The
world’s children and divorce should never go together, but it happens all the
time. You have to make them your priority so they don’t get lost in the shuffle.
Children tend to believe that the divorce is something that they did and they
have fears that they will be losing one or both of their parents. You may to
make time for both children and divorce in the same breath or you are going to
mess them up.
No matter how you and your spouse may be feeling about each
other, you still have to be parents together. That will never change. When it
comes to children and divorce, you have go together to talk to your children
about it, and you have to let them know that they didn’t do anything wrong, and
that you are both still their parents, even if you won’t be living in the same
house together. You may already know this, but they don’t. Children and divorce
are things that are alien to each other and this is where all the problems begin

Remember to let them know that the rules will remain the same,
and they are still expected to follow them. Let them ask you questions, and most
of all, reassure them that you still love them just the same as you always have,
and that you will always be a family. It will just be a different kind of
